Trinity Catholic Academy Varsity Boys Win
St. John's Invitational Tournament

Trinity Catholic Academy's varsity boy's basketball team coached by Jim Auger, Dominic Falsetta and Ray Gobbi, recently won first place in the St. John's Invitational Basketball Tournament. The three week elimination tournament is held at St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro. The tournament celebrated its 30th Anniversary this year with over 40 teams participating from all over the South Shore and Rhode Island.

Tom Houle, founder of the St. John's Basketball program, started the tournament 30 years ago to coincide with the excitement of "March Madness". The tournament has seen some great players participate over the years including Billy Curly of Duxbury who played at Boston College and in the National Basketball Association.
